PARTAZ | in a nutshell… PARTAZ: A Musical Journey Between India and Reunion Island TRAMAY, a musical group from Reunion Island, and two Indian musicians of Carnatic classical music have joined their talents to create PARTAZ, a unique and creative musical project, drawing its inspiration from various traditional and modern influences. Two artistic residency periods marked this project in 2023:  * In India, from February 24th to March 29th, in partnership with the Kathakali Center of Fort Kochi.  * In Reunion Island, from May 6th to June 2nd, in collaboration with the Cité des Arts of Saint-Denis. Throughout May, the public of Reunion Island was able to discover PARTAZ through a rich and varied program: concerts, masterclasses, workshops, educational outreach in schools... In total, more than 15 events were offered to reach different audiences. Music, a powerful universal language, is vibration and emotion. Musical mixing transports us to the heart of the encounters and stories it tells. The inscription of Maloya in 2009 on the intangible cultural heritage of Unesco reminds us of the importance of the cultural richness of the Overseas Territories, an essential element of the identity of the populations, and its capacity to influence and nourish many musical currents. Tramay was playing with a bunch of artists invited by the  Association Maloy'arts 974 on Sunday 19th September au Centre Pierre Macquart in St Pierre! Fabrice Doulouma, keyboard Anne Maillol, opera singer Jamy Pedro, bass player and Jimmy Cambona, with his easel and brushes!   A magical moment, full of laugh, beautiful tunes and humanity with exceptional guests  !

In 2021, Tramay has performed at the Museum Stella Matutina for the Guétali on the 3rd October (booking at the Museum) and at Vavang'art on 9th October (Booking at Vavang'art)   We have also performed for the Inheritage Day Journées du Patrimoine in St Pierre with a new concept Tramayaz (with guests).   Tramay will give classes as well !   Follus us on social medias Tramay

This year too...

This year, the Reunionese Region again allows the band to meet the Reunionese population in all the areas of the island.  Tramay will perform in EPHAD (housing for the eldest), libraries, hospitals, and schools. Like last year, the Region selected 10 concerts out of 20. Des moments de sourires, de joie, de partage, ...de découverte pendant lesquels les artistes pourront échanger directement avec les partenaires et le public et créer des liens. Tramay in Residence in St Pierre!

Tramay residency at the Kerveguen St Pierre

Tramay will be in residence in St Pierre from June 28th to July 2nd, 2021. A performance for young audiences is scheduled for June 30th. New costumes and lighting design! Tramay has created a new lighting design for their songs thanks to the work of Dominique Benvenutti and will be showcasing their new costumes designed by Isabelle Gastelier. The group's sound technician, Cédric Corrieri, will also be present, along with our new collaborator, Mathilde Couzy. A performance for young audiences is scheduled for June 30th. The production is managed by Lpdf corp.
