Krié

Marronnage, Performance Piece
Created in 2007 as a trio, this performance piece was adapted into a duo, primarily thanks to the Flo & David project. It explores the theme of "marronnage" (runaway slave resistance) and is designed to be adaptable for performances in various locations.
The piece has been notably performed in Mafate, with photography by Leaf Arvie.
It continues to evolve, particularly through the partnership between the company and the Cyberun Association.
"Krié, Komandèr" Single
Tramay's single, "Krié, Komandèr," is the result of an Indian Reunionese collaboration conducted remotely between studios. It features musicians Balakrishna Kamath (mridangam) and Brijesh Sirsarker (tabla) from Kerala, India.
Originally created by David for the Maloya Métiss Company's piece "Krié," and then reworked for the duo performance with Flo & David in 2017, it was revisited and arranged by the Tramay group in 2020.
Flo contributed to the continuation of the piece, which was initially composed and written by David.
Lyrics: David Abrousse and Florence Latappy; Music: David Abrousse; Arrangements: Tramay Group (David Abrousse, Florence Latappy, Jimmy Imare).
"L'Esclavage est au Programme" Documentary
The documentary "L'Esclavage est au Programme," filmed by Corinne Russo, was created in collaboration with a school where Flo & David provided artistic coaching to students for the "La Flamme de l'Égalité" competition. It documents the students' participation in the competition and, importantly, how teachers conveyed a fundamental part of history to them. Flo & David are featured in the documentary coaching the students, and it also includes an excerpt from their new single, "Krié, Komandèr." The students won the academic competition, supported by the entire team.
Documentary broadcast: May 6th, on the Outre-Mer la Première portal at 18:30 in the "les jeudis du doc" slot, then on France 3 at 00:30 in the "la ligne bleu Outre mer" documentary slot, and on May 10th at 21:10 on Réunion Première.
The teaser of Krié, Komandèr was released on the 9th of may on the groups youtube channel, and the single was released on the 16th of may on Tramays soundcloud and the clip was recorded in Reunion in May 2023 at the occasion of the Tramay's Partaz project.
Early June 2021, the album recording (Nomade studio with Cédric Corrieri) includes the title.
