A way of life...
Harmelle Baret has been part of our collective since the creation of the Association. She has participated in various projects of the Maloya Métiss Company and the Tramay Group.
- Recognized with the Golden Canvas of the Year 2011 for her work "Tropical Atmosphere" by the National Federation of French Culture.
- Awarded 1st Prize in Oil Painting at the Rougier & Plé - Concours des peintres nocéens, 2004.
- Received 2nd Prize in Oil Painting at the Centre culturel des bords de Marne, Le Perreux, 2001.
Born in 1941 in Hell-Bourg, Reunion Island, Harmelle Baret attended several visual arts studios in Paris and the Paris region (Nogent-sur-Marne, Neuilly-sur-Marne, and the Gagny Conservatory). She also participated in workshops in Seine-et-Marne, Anjou, and Paris.
Since the 1990s, she has regularly exhibited in Neuilly-sur-Marne, Le Perreux, Créteil, Le Bourget, the Louvre, Montfermeil, Clichy-sous-Bois, Gournay-sur-Marne, Chènevières, Rosny-sous-Bois, and Saint-Pierre, Reunion Island, where she has lived since 2022.
